Sweet Summer

You don't see this sight much anymore...but it is still just as sweet.

4 little girls, 6 gallons of lemonade, 3 dozen chocolate chip cookies and a neighborhood of willing customers equals a lot of smiles and $53! Yeah, that's right!

The best part of the whole day was when the girls decided that they wanted to donate all of their profits to the local battered woman's shelter to buy toys and clothes for the kids. I don't know about you, but when I was a kid...I'm pretty sure that I kept my money. My how times are changing...sometimes for the better.

Congratulations Girls!!!!!

Into..."the City"

We have been told that when you live up here, you must call San Francisco, "the City" and whatever you do, don't ever call it "Frisco". Also, to be considered a resident you must refer to it as "the Bay area",(not Northern California), and it is divided into 3 basic regions...the North Bay, East Bay and the South Bay. Yes, we have gotten quite the education. But well worth it!

We took the kids into the City to see the sights...we visited The Fishermans Wharf, drove down the world's most crooked street (a little bit scary) and ate at The Cheesecake Factory on the 8th floor of Macy's (yes, 8 floors, it was the largest Macy's in the western region.)
